To celebrate 120 years since production began at The BenRiach Distillery, join global brand ambassador and Keeper of the Quaich Stewart Buchanan as he guides you through the unconventional practices of the distillery. Be the first in the world to taste a special anniversary bottling launching exclusively at the Speyside festival, distilled 100 years after the distillery doors opened. This commemorative 20-year-old expression has been bottled exclusively from Marsala Hogshead casks and a limited stock will only be available for purchase at BenRiach Distillery.

Also explore the three main styles produced by BenRiach – unpeated, peated and triple distilled – on a tasting journey of one of the most experimental distilleries in Speyside.

Distillery founder, John Duff, travelled home and abroad in pursuit of whisky adventures, before building the BenRiach distillery in 1898. It is in his adventurous spirit that BenRiach boldly approaches the art of distillation and cask maturation, pushing the boundaries of malt alchemy like no other. The distillery is also one of the two remaining distilleries in Speyside to distill whisky using malted barley from its own on-site floor maltings, a time-honoured craft that is celebrated for one month each year.

Please note this event is open to over 18’s only.

Please note that tickets for masterclasses cannot be purchased as a stand alone event, as tickets for the corresponding session of Spirit of Speyside: Distilled must also be booked.
